Hey guys, so something pretty terrible happened to my friend, Meghan last night.
Right after graduation she had a lot of her stuff packed in her car because she had to move out of her apartment, and she was staying the night at a hotel by UCF before she was supposed to drive home this morning.
Well, last night her car along with many others in the hotel parking lot were broken into. Almost all of her stuff was taken.
Her printer, nail polish, jewelry, family jewelry and clothes were taken.
The thing is, Meghan had a lot of really unique clothes because a lot of them were from thrift stores. It’s not exactly pieces you can buy again. I also figured that the easiest way for a crook, like the person who broke into her car, to make cash off her clothes is to sell them online or at a secondhand shop near the area. So I thought maybe if people saw pictures of some of her pieces of clothing, and if on some off chance anyone came across them on ebay or in a store, you guys could let her know.
She’s been through a lot of crappy circumstances while living in Orlando, and this one is just terrible. I couldn’t imagine what it would be like to have everything taken away from you right after you’re supposed to be celebrating a major accomplishment like college graduation. Heck, she only got to wear her graduation dress once before some asshole stole it!
So can folks in the UCF area just take a look, and if you see any of these clothes online or being sold anywhere like Plato’s Closet or Dechoe’s or something like that, give her or I a heads up? ESPECIALLY if you see more than one piece that looks like these online listed by the same seller!
If there’s any way for Meghan to get her stuff back, I’d like to help if possible. What this person did is just disgusting and wrong. Heck, even if someone finds something similar in the right size I’d be pretty happy to tell her!
