It Makes Sense In My World.

MegaCon wrap-up:

• Coolest first convention EVER. WTF Why have I been not going to these things for years?
• I got whistled at by a remote controlled R2D2 and followed around by it.
• People kept running up to my friend and I asking to take pictures of our costumes. I asked a few of them, “Do you want to be in the picture too?” because I wasn’t used to people wanting a picture of me. They kept saying “Oh no, I just want a picture of your costume!” 
• One person behind one of the booths yelled “BROWNCOATS FOREVER” really loudly at us. It felt awesome.
• I got some awesome new shot glasses included a Watchmen one. :)
• Hawkeye was so hot. His Wolverine friend and Captain American friend was too. I wish I had gotten a picture with all three of them.
• I SAW TOM FELTON. I didn’t stand in line to get his autograph (wanted to but the line was super long by the time I found it) but whatever I SAW SOMEONE IN REAL LIFE WHO I HAVE BEEN WATCHING ON THE BIG SCREEN FOR OVER TEN YEARS. It was so bizarre seeing him in real life. Holy shit. Also Data from Star Trek was there! 
• I haven’t jumped up and down and “squee“d out loud from pure excitement like I did today probably since I was like 10.
• SO MUCH STUFF I WANTED TO BUY. Thank God I didn’t.
• I am apparently going back on Sunday after my interdisciplinary humanities workshop, and this time our group will have a Mal, Wash, Jayne, River, Saffron and myself as Kaylee. :D
• I saw a girl who had a 1940’s Captain America costume almost like my Halloween one. I was briefly sad I didn’t wear my captain costume because I realized if I had I would’ve probably been in a lot of peoples’ pictures. But I had fun as Kaylee. 
• There was a guy dressed as Jason. His costume bothered me. I got really scared.
• Conventions rock. That much nerdy enthusiasm in one room is just fun.
• I keep going through the megacon tag now waiting for one of the like 20 people who got a picture of my friend and I in our costumes to post a picture since we were idiots and didn’t take pictures of our costumes together. And I also recognize some of the costumes I saw, which is awesome.
