Can someone explain this to me?

How is it when I am being outbid on ebay, and I go to make another bid that as soon as I hit confirm the person I’m bidding against has already met my bid by exactly $1?

How is that automated?

So I found a listing on etsy for bourbon pecan caramel bars and I was looking for the recipe.

Which led me to a magazine article from Real Simple Magazine about good stocking stuffers (the bars were on that list.)
One item suggested?
Colored bubbles.
FUCK.
YES.
Can this be in my stocking every year?

I get why this magazine is called Real Simple.
And I get what this says about me.

But I really just want colored bubbles right now.
